It all started with an idea.
Why did Denmark lack so many of the tasteful plant-based products that was available in the neighboring countries of Sweden and Germany?
Marcus Maar set out to change that.
In November 2023, he showed up at the annual plant-based food fair in Copenhagen with more than 100 plant-based product samples from producers all over Europe. The fair was a massive success and became the birth of Plantbox. After 18 months, we have built it from being a monthly home delivery service with plant-based charcuterie to a leading importer of Europe’s finest plant-based products with more than 120 retail stores and restaurants serving them.
We are no longer a PLANT-based charcuterie BOX.
